Overview
This document describes any enhancements to existing features, fixed issues, and known issues for the 2.7.5 release of the Sugar Plug-in for Microsoft Outlook. For information on supported platforms, please refer to the Plug-ins Supported Platforms page.
Fixed Issues
The 2.7.5 release of the Sugar Plug-in for Microsoft Outlook is a security update released to address a security vulnerability identified during our routine QA checks.
We strongly recommend that you install this update at the earliest opportunity. While we have not experienced any reported incidents relating to this vulnerability to date, failure to install this update could leave you exposed to malicious third-party attacks. For more information regarding this, please refer to the following Security Advisory announcement:
- Security Advisory sugarcrm-sa-2022-012: Unauthenticated users may cause arbitrary code to be executed.
Known Issues
The following are known issues in this release of the Sugar Plug-in for Microsoft Outlook. Case portal users can use the following links for more details about each issue:
- 87397: The About page and log file for the Sugar Plug-in for Microsoft Outlook may incorrectly display the old version of the plug-in even though the new version has been installed.
- 85891: Emails containing the same attachment more than once may fail to archive to Sugar. As a workaround, select the "Prompt before sending email attachments" option from the Mail tab of the SugarCRM Plug-in Settings window, then select "No" in the dialog box that appears when archiving the particular email.
