Use Case: Web Content Download from Nurture

Overview

This use case provides an example using several Sugar Market modules, including the legacy nurture builder.

Description

A prospect completes a form on a landing page to request a piece of gated content and is redirected to a Thank You page, receives the download in an email, and is then added to a follow-up nurture.

Steps to Complete

Step 1: Create Trigger Email with Asset
  1. Upload PDF of asset to the Asset Library.
  2. Create a trigger campaign by navigating to Create > Campaign > Trigger.
  3. Enable the following on the Email Info tab: Trigger Active, Instant Release, Allow Duplicates.
  4. Pull in email template and update content/links.
Step 2: Create Follow-Up Nurture
  • This is a subsequent trigger nurture with additional content after the initial download is received.
  • Email content should be built from within the nurture using existing templates.
Step 3: Create the Thank You Page
  1. Create a new page.
  2. Name the page and edit content.
  3. Click the gear icon at the top of the page to edit settings, including: page URL, SEO information, additional tracking, cookie consent, etc..
  4. Publish your page.
  5. Copy the URL to your system clipboard to use when you build your form.
Step 4: Create the Form
  1. Create a new form with a template.
  2. Update fields/mappings and hidden fields, if needed.
  3. Set Sync with External CRM to Yes.
  4. Paste the Thank You Page URL as the redirect URL.
  5. Add the following Form Actions:
    1. Add confirmation email (from the trigger above).
    2. Add alerts.
    3. Field Submission Rule: If Email contains @, then Add to Nurture and select the activated Follow Up nurture (Step 2 above) and the appropriate step.
  6. Publish Form.
Step 5: Create the Landing Page
  1. Create a new page as in Step 3 above.
  2. Add form (Step 4 above) to the landing page.
  3. Publish page.
Step 6: Create Promo Nurture

Create a Drip nurture that directs to the URL of the landing page (Step 5 above) for prospects to submit the form.
