Including or Excluding Previous Recipients in an Email Campaign

Overview

It can be useful to leverage your participant lists from a previous campaign by including or excluding them in new campaigns. This article explains how to use your existing lists in new campaigns.

Identifying Recipients

To use a previous list in an email campaign:

  1. Create the email campaign, as described in the Sugar Market User Guide.
  2. On Step 4 of the builder, select "Campaigns" as the list type, and then select the specific campaign from the list below.
  3. Drag the list name to the Include or Exclude column, and then expand the three-dot menu.
  4. Select one of the following qualifiers:
    • Opened But Not Clicked: Contact opened the email but did not click through any embedded links.
    • Opened and Clicked: Contact opened the email and clicked through at least one embedded link.
    • Did Not Open: Contact did not open email.
    • Past Recipients: Contact was a member of the selected campaign, regardless of their open and click status.
