The SugarCloud section of Sugar's Admin page allows administrators to view, access, and manage key information and data pertaining to your instance hosted in Sugar's cloud environment. Please note that the options in the SugarCloud section are only available for SugarCloud customers.
The SugarCloud section contains the following menus:
|SugarCloud Insights||Monitor your instance's database and file system storage usage, license usage, and gain access to PHP error logs and access logs|
|Download Backups||Access and download backup files of your Sugar instance via the Backups module|
|Notification Settings||Manage the email addresses that should receive important SugarCloud service notifications (e.g. upgrade notifications)|
SugarCloud Insights allows administrators of instances hosted on Sugar's cloud servers (i.e., sugarondemand.com) to easily monitor their instance's database and file system storage usage, license usage, as well as gain access to PHP error logs and access logs.
Administrators can access the SugarCloud Insights page via Admin > SugarCloud Insights. Here, they can view storage and license usage information such as the total amount of storage being used across their cloud instances, a breakdown of the current database and file system storage usage for each cloud instance, the total number of active users counting against their Sugar license, etc. In addition, administrators will have the ability to generate PHP error logs and access logs directly from the page which can help provide useful information when troubleshooting certain issues. For more information, refer to the SugarCloud Insights Guide.
Customers with instances hosted on Sugar's cloud environment may request their backup files for various reasons such as local sandbox development, in-depth analytics, or data auditing. Sugar Support can schedule and provide backups on a one-time or recurring basis, based on your organization's need. For some SugarCloud customers, backup files are available to access and download via the Backups module in Sugar. For more information on downloading your instance's backups, refer to the Downloading Backups From the Backups Module article.
For critical events such as major upgrades and maintenance windows, SugarCRM sends an email notification to all system administrator users with a valid email address configured in the SugarCloud instance. Administrators can add additional email addresses for other individuals (e.g. your Sugar partner, IT team members, sales managers) so that they can stay abreast of key events without occupying an administrative license in their instance. For more information on managing SugarCloud communications, refer to the SugarCloud Policy Guide.
