MS Outlook Plug-in Release Notes 2.7.2

Overview

This document describes any feature enhancements, as well as fixed and/or known issues for the Sugar Plug-in for Microsoft Outlook 2.7.2. 

Note: .NET 4.8 is required for this version of the Sugar Plug-in for Outlook. Users should verify that they have this framework installed and, if not, obtain the necessary updates from Microsoft before moving to this release. Refer to the Installation Guide for more information on installation prerequisites and required libraries. For information about supported versions of Outlook, refer to the Plug-ins Supported Platforms page. 

Feature Enhancements

The following feature enhancement is included in this release of the Sugar Plug-in for Microsoft Outlook:

  • Improved sync for private calls and meetings: The behavior when syncing private calls and meetings has changed from bidirectional to unidirectional sync from Outlook to Sugar, allowing users to update personal call and meeting names in Sugar for privacy.

Fixed Issues

The following issues have been resolved in this release of the Sugar Plug-in for Microsoft Outlook. Case Portal users can use the following links for more details about each issue:

  • 85130 : Removing the "private" flag of an appointment in Outlook is not reflected in Sugar if the appointment was already synced.
  • 85987 : Users may experience authentication problems when using the plug-in with a SugarIdentity-enabled Sugar instance.
  • 85993 : Meetings fail to sync when the user is running Windows 10 with Dutch as their language and localization.
