Troubleshooting Blank Tracker Reports
Overview
Sugar includes many pre-built tracker reports. You can use these reports to get information on user actions, sessions, performance, and queries. If you believe that your tracker reports are missing data, contact your administrator to confirm that trackers are enabled.
For more information about Sugar's tracker capabilities, please refer to Understanding Tracker Reports.
Symptom
Your tracker reports are blank or missing information you expect to see.
Resolution
Tracker settings must be enabled within the Admin area before any data is displayed in the reports. You must be a Sugar administrator to access tracker settings in Sugar.
To enable these settings, an administrator can complete the following steps:
- Navigate to Admin > Tracker.
- Enable the checkboxes for the tracker report type depending on your reporting needs.
- Click Save.
Note: Enabling trackers may cause performance issues due to the volume of data they collect and should, therefore, be enabled on an as-needed basis.
Once trackers have been enabled, Sugar will begin collecting user and performance data. The associated reports will show data from the point of enablement until trackers are disabled again. The Prune Tracker Tables scheduler will remove any tracker records older than the number of days specified in Admin > Tracker, which may also affect tracker report results.
