What to Expect When Upgrading to 14.2 (Q4 2024)

Overview

Upgrades to Sugar 14.2 are available or required for instances according to the following guidelines:

  • All instances hosted on Sugar's cloud service will be upgraded to 14.2 (Q4 2024).

When preparing for your upgrade, please keep in mind that there are some key features of 14.1 (Q3 2024) that have changed or no longer available in Sugar 14.2.x. Some of the items that are unavailable in Sugar 14.2.x may be made available in a future release. To help provide you with the necessary information, this article covers what to expect when your instance is upgraded from 14.1.x to 14.2.x.

Administration

Prune Old Record Lists scheduler 

The Prune Old Record Lists scheduler is active and runs as often as possible by default. Backend database entries older than 1 hour from the current date and time are removed from the record_list database table.

The Prune Old Record Lists scheduler runs daily at 4:00 AM by default. Backend database entries older than 1 day (i.e., 24 hours) from the current date and time are removed from the record_list database table.
