• 93373: Some customers may experience performance issues when user records are synced from SugarIdentity to Sugar. 
• 93217: When activating SugarIdentity for on-site Sugar instances via the activation portal, valid email addresses entered on the form may not be accepted and display an error.

• SugarIdentity deactivation for on-site Sugar instances: For on-site instances that are SugarIdentity-enabled, if the organization wishes to stop using the SugarIdentity service, the Sugar administrator can disable it via the deactivation portal.

Feature Enhancements

The following feature enhancement was included in the 10.0 release of SugarIdentity:

• User interface redesign: The SugarCloud Settings console has been redesigned to be in line with Sugar's user interface with a modern navigation bar and header as well as a newly added home page. 
  • Modern sidebar navigation: The navigation bar has moved to the left side of the screen and includes the Home tab, Quick Create button, Users module tab, and Help icon.
  • Home page: The newly added home page is the hub of the SugarCloud Settings console containing links to view, create, and import your Sugar users, as well as configure and manage various system settings (e.g., Password and Security Settings) for your Sugar instance.

• Display Sugar Login as a button on the login screen: For organizations that are configured to use SAML or OIDC authentication, a new "Display Sugar Login as a Button" option has been added to the SAML/OIDC configuration screens. If enabled, the Sugar Login will display as a button on the login screen where users can enter their Sugar credentials.

• Impersonate other system administrators: Administrators can now impersonate other system administrator users using the "Impersonate (Log in as)" option in the SugarCloud Settings console.

SugarIdentity 8.2 (February 22, 2022)

• Column selection for Users list view: Administrators can now personalize the Users list view in the SugarCloud Settings console by specifying which fields (e.g., Title, Department) they want to be displayed as columns in the list view.

SugarIdentity 8.1 (February 8, 2022)

The following feature enhancements were included in the 8.1 release of SugarIdentity:

• Display label for Log In button updated on Sugar's login screen: For organizations that are configured to use SAML or OIDC authentication, the display label for the login button on Sugar's login screen now displays "Log in with SAML" or "Log in with OIDC". In addition, a new Provider Name field has been added to the SAML/OIDC configuration screens where you can set a custom name to display ("Log in with [Provider Name]") in the button.
• More fields available for mass update: The Title, Department, Work Phone, and Address fields are now available for mass update in the SugarCloud Settings console.
• Improved user interface for Users list view: We have reduced the whitespace in the Users list view of the SugarCloud Settings console to improve the user experience.

The following issue has been resolved in the 8.1 release of SugarIdentity. Case portal users can use the following links for more details:

• 84597: When importing new users in the SugarCloud Settings console, certain fields (e.g., Title, Department) are not available to define in the import file template.

SugarIdentity 8.0 (January 25, 2022)

Feature Enhancements

The following feature enhancement was included in the 8.0 release of SugarIdentity:

• User license assignment in SugarCloud Settings console: For certain SugarIdentity-enabled instances, administrators can manage the License Type field in the SugarCloud Settings console to assign licenses to users. The ability to manage user licenses in the SugarCloud Settings console will be rolled out to all SugarCloud customers over the course of 2022. 

Fixed Issues

The following issue has been resolved in the 8.0 release of SugarIdentity. Case portal users can use the following links for more details:

• 88711: A validation check is not performed on the Email field during the user import process causing invalid email addresses to be entered in the user's record potentially. 
• 84844: User license assignment is not available in the SugarCloud Settings console, and unexpected issues may occur in certain circumstances.  

The following issue identified in the Sugar application has been resolved in the 11.3.0 release of Sugar. Case portal users can use the following links for more details:

• 87960: For Sugar versions 11.1.0 and higher, having the Administration page open in Sugar when initiating the impersonation session in SugarCloud Settings may cause the impersonation to fail with an error. 

SugarIdentity 7.7 (January 13, 2022)

• Reset user passwords: Administrators can now send password reset emails to users by clicking the lock icon in the Users list view of the SugarCloud Settings console.
• Maximum password length limit increased: When configuring password rules in the SugarCloud Settings console, the maximum length for Sugar passwords can now be set to a limit of 55 characters.

• 88764: In certain circumstances, when administrators access certain user records in the SugarCloud Settings console, the page may perpetually reload and result in a 401 error.
• 87907: The Language link does not appear on the QR Code, Secret Key, and 6-digit code screens when logging in to Sugar using multi-factor authentication.

The following feature enhancements were included in the 4.4 release of SugarIdentity on December 1, 2020:

• Support identity provider initiated SSO: SAML users can now click the SugarCRM app from their Okta, OneLogin, or G Suite dashboard to be authenticated and automatically logged in to their Sugar account.
  • For this feature to work, you will need to obtain the Assertion Consumer Service URL from SugarCloud Settings and enter it in Okta, OneLogin, or G Suite.
• Assertion Consumer Service URL for SAML authentication: When configuring SAML authentication for SugarIdentity, you must now enter the new Assertion Consumer Service URL in the identity provider (e.g. Okta, OneLogin).

Feature Enhancements

The following feature enhancements were included in this release of SugarIdentity:

• Login service enhancements: When logging into your SugarIdentity-enabled instances (e.g. production, sandboxes) or the Cloud Settings console, the login screen will now display an account selector with the list of user accounts that you have previously accessed in the tenant(s) (e.g. ABC Production, ABC Test Sandbox).
  
  • Each user will be identified by their username as well as the tenant name and tenant ID for the Sugar instance to which they belong. 

• Password requirements: The password requirements configured via the Cloud Settings console now appear on the screen when users reset their password.
