Overview

This document describes feature enhancements and fixed issues for Sugar Plug-in for Microsoft Excel, October 2012 release.

Feature Enhancements

The following feature enhancements are included in this release of the Sugar Plug-in for Microsoft Excel:

Settings notification : Installing Sugar Plug-in for MS Excel and logging in without configuring the Settings displays an error message
New login button in Settings/Connection tab : New Login button in Settings dialog streamlines navigation by bypassing the OK button
Updated Sugar Plug-in for MS Excel dialog : Sugar Plug-in for MS Excel dialog includes 32-bit/62-bit information

Fixed Issues

The following issues have been resolved in this release of the Sugar Plug-in for Microsoft Excel. Case Portal users can access the case portal for more details about each issue:

50672 : Records added from Sugar Plug-in for MS Excel even if the required fields are empty
53856 : Performing Insert status does not update to Completed when inserting rows/columns/cells in Sugar Plug-in for MS Excel
56550 : Sugar Plug-in for MS Excel installer fails on PCs that do not have MS Outlook installed on them
