Sugar Connect Release Notes

Overview

This document describes any feature enhancements, fixed issues, and known issues for the current Sugar Connect release. Case portal users can use the links in the appropriate sections below for more details on fixed and known issues.

For information on supported platforms and past release notes, refer to the Plug-Ins Supported Platforms and Archived Release Notes pages.

Sugar Connect 52.1 (March 11, 2025)

Fixed Issues

  • 96673: Administrators viewing a large list of users in the Sugar Connect Portal are not able to use the browser's "find" functionality when infinite scrolling is triggered.

Sugar Connect 52.0 (March 4, 2025)

This release updates the Sugar Connect sidebar to version 1.52.0.94.

Feature Enhancements

  • Modern UI redesign: The Sugar Connect Portal is reimagined to a beautiful new UI that makes your tasks feel bright and fresh.
    • Color-coded navigation: The navigation bar uses a striking color palette to help you easily identify your frequently accessed tabs.
    • Center pane focused: The modern blue background combined with thoughtfully enhanced UI elements helps you focus your attention on the content in the center of the screen.
    • Animation on hover: The added animation and pops of color on hover add a modern touch to your menu selections.
    • Dark mode: The addition of dark mode means that you can take advantage of the benefits of the feature while still enjoying the thoughtfully curated color palette in muted tones.
  • One-way Synchronization from Sugar: You can now choose to sync your calendar events from Sugar to your Google or Outlook calendar.

Fixed Issues

  • 96321: The Teams field only displays the first word of the team name in the Sugar Connect sidebar.
  • 96209: Updating the Internal Notes field in a call or meeting triggers and event update/invitation to be sent to guests.

Known Issues

  • 96443: Searching for records by the full name in the Sugar Connect sidebar may return no results.
  • 96355: In Microsoft Outlook on the Web, calls and tasks may still be synced to Sugar as meeting records.
  • 94630: The Sugar Connect Portal does not display a scrollbar in some browsers (e.g., Chrome).
  • 92567: Emails received via BCC are not able to be archived.
  • 92111: Sugar Connect may not remove events in the external calendar that have been unassigned in Sugar.
