Sugar Hint Release Notes

Overview

This page describes mostly back-end feature enhancements, fixed issues, and known issues in the services that Hint uses for its data enrichment and news feed capabilities. For front-end features, fixed issues, and known issues, refer to the latest quarterly CRM release notes. You can see all product updates by subscribing to Hint updates and Sugar Sell updates on SugarClub. Note: In Sugar Hint 5.4.3 and lower, Hint is a module loadable package (MLP) that must be installed in your Sugar instance. In Hint 6.0.0 and higher, Hint is included in the Sugar codebase and activated by license key.

Feature Enhancements

This version of Sugar Hint addresses minor performance issues.

Additional Information

  • Upgrading Hint from 4.1.1 to a higher version without uninstalling 4.1.1 first results in two packages being installed and may cause unexpected behavior. To avoid this, uninstall 4.1.1 with the "Do Not Remove Tables" option selected before installing a higher version.
  • Upgrading Hint on a Sugar version lower than 8.1.0 results in two packages being installed and may cause unexpected behavior. To avoid this, uninstall the previous version of Hint with the "Do Not Remove Tables" option selected before installing a higher version.
