Legacy Sugar Mobile for iPhone 1.0 Release Notes
Overview
This document describes the supported iPhone versions and known limitations for Legacy Sugar Mobile for iPhone, a native mobile application that works with Sugar Enterprise and Sugar Professional 6.1.x and above, Sugar Ultimate and Sugar Corporate 6.2.0 and above.
Actions
You can perform the following actions in Sugar Mobile for iPhone:

Use Studio to customize module layouts for Sugar Mobile, including adding custom modules and fields to the layouts. This action is available to administrators.

Supported iPhone and iPad Versions
Sugar Mobile for iPhone supports the following iPhone and iPad versions:

Note:

Sugar Mobile for iPhone is not a universal application and, hence, does not provide a separate iPad-specific User Interface.

Known limitations
•
|
While you can access the Documents module to view records, you cannot access document files, or add them to records within Sugar Mobile.
|
•
|
Field-level access controls are not currently in effect in records in Sugar Mobile.
|
•
|
You can use the Search feature in the tool bar to search for records in modules that are supported by the Global Search in the Sugar application. The Search results will not display records in custom modules because they are not accessible to Global Search in Sugar.

•
|
Localization of Sugar Mobile-specific text strings is not yet supported. This includes labels for options such as "Modules", "Quick View", "Save Record", "View Related", and error messages that are specific to Sugar Mobile for iPhone.
